SunGard Window Fashions has been family-owned and operated since 1973, with leadership spanning three generations. The company began by tinting car and truck windows, then quickly expanded into commercial and residential window film applications. By the early 1980s, SunGard introduced custom window treatments—including blinds, shades, and draperies—into its product line.

In 2003, SunGard was selected by Hunter Douglas to open a Gallery showroom, followed by a second Hunter Douglas Gallery location in Bloomington in 2010.

Madico films utilize advanced, spectrally selective coatings made from materials such as stainless steel, copper, titanium, aluminum, and ceramic—rather than dyes that can fade over time. This technology delivers superior performance, durability, and color stability, with many applications lasting 20–25 years.

Safety and security window film provides an added layer of protection for homes and businesses. Manufactured by Madico®, these high-performance films help reduce risks associated with accidents, crime, and natural disasters.

Hunter Douglas window treatments and Madico window films are backed by a limited lifetime warranty. In the event of manufacturing defects, the product will be repaired or replaced by the manufacturer.

• Operating systems, including lifting mechanisms and cords, are covered by a 7-year repair warranty
• While Hunter Douglas covers repair costs under warranty, customers are responsible for shipping and any labor costs associated with removal and reinstallation by SunGard
