Cleaning does not have to take lots of time; you can do it with a few simple steps that are easily incorporated into your daily routine. Dusting is the most important part of cleaning your window coverings. The best way to dust is with a lint-free microfiber duster or damp cloth.

• Loose dust and dirt can be removed with a wipe-down with a dry cloth or duster. If your window treatments do not have any built-up or stuck-on debris, this might be all you have to do.
• To clean spots with stuck-on debris, dampen the area where you want to clean with water and then wipe down each piece of blinds, shades, or shutter with the wet cloth.
